Growing up, I had a great imagination lit a spark that. I grew up in Dallas, Texas, as a first-generation Mexican daughter. I started building a career in the medical field but did a 180-degree flip into the acting world. I knew that was what I wanted to do, so I took a chance, got serious about my career, and moved to San Francisco to study at Academy of Art University. While in the Bay Area, I was in short films and worked in local theater. Being a part of the original production of Memoria Del Silencio, playing the La Nina, was life-changing for me. I was able to connect and build with other Latino artists. I love being in a room with other artists to create and work towards getting our stories told.
