Ermina Canawati

Growing up, I found joy in watching movies and acting them out with my siblings. After my first play in high school, I realized I wanted to pursue acting as a career. The feeling of accomplishment I felt after bowing to the audience was something I had never experienced before. However, growing up in Bethlehem, Palestine, limited my opportunities in the filmmaking industry. Determined to achieve my dreams, I left home and set out to make a name for myself as an actor.

My acting journey has had its ups and downs, but the thought of positively impacting the world through my work motivates me to keep going. Watching actors say goodbye after a long-running series inspires me to be a part of something that will last beyond my lifetime.
