Summer Givens

I grew up in Northern California with appreciation for the arts. I always had the desire to entertain my friends and family. At four years old I starred as Toto in The Wiz. I continued to act in many community theater productions and pursue my love for acting in high school. My high school theater awards include best actress as Katrina in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and best supporting actress as Gloria in Bye Bye Birdie and as Tanya in Mamma Mia. My passion for acting on stage motivated me to explore acting in film and television at the Academy of Art University. I am currently working towards my bachelor’s degree. I’ve has been nominated for best actress awards in comedy and drama. In 2022, I won best actress for her dramatic role as Ruby in Middle of Nowhere. I was recently nominated for best actress in comedy as Sandy in Blue Surge and best actress in drama as Christina in Glass Unicorn. In addition to my education, I actively volunteer in my local community and am an advocate for various social issues.
