Jia Yu

Jia Yu is a fashion student at the Academy of Art University At the same time, she has 4 years' experience in fashion design. She loves fashion and is curious about everything. Also, she never gives up and dares to challenge suffering.

This project uses skin defects as my design inspiration. Some people leave scars due to allergies, their own defects, and disasters. Many people feel inferior to this. Therefore, I think of encouraging and expressing that defects are also
beautiful. People should not humble themselves and cover up their wounds. Of
course, it also comes from my personal life experience. When I was a child, I had eczema and measles. This makes me very painful. Every day I try to cover up the ugly marks caused by these diseases. But in fact, others will not exclude me because of these marks.
