The Spring Show submission works are parts of my current urban landscape painting series, ‘Moments at that Time: San Francisco’. I arrived in San Francisco and spent my twenties here. As time passed, San Francisco became a familiar place to me and permeated my daily life. The series's works are expressed how the feelings of comfort and familiarity that I left behind in my country of origin were rediscovered in this city during an important phase of my life, moment by moment. Those fragments of time as moments are inspired by San Francisco, where I live, with its diverse atmosphere, variety of architecture, light, unique setting, and varied weather.
