While I was working in Antarctica as an engineer from 1999 to 2012, I photographed many seascapes, mountains, glaciers, shorelines and icebergs. Those images were references for my paintings, representing the beauty of Antarctica. This body of landscape works form a diverse picture of the Antarctic environment as I experienced it from the vicinities of three United States research stations: Palmer, McMurdo and South Pole. Overall, I am painting Antarctic landscapes as the first part of my Seven Continents life memoir.
