Yen Yen Tay

I am deeply inspired by the dark emotions of humans as I finds loneliness and fragility depicts a sense of beauty. Thus, my figurative works are more painterly and expressive to create the sense of emotions. On the other side, my landscape works depicts the real life through an impressionist lens.

Recently I included some sculptures in my works as I find them able to depict emotions differently. I incorporated expressive portraits through sculptures as they bring emotions through forms.
