Born and raised on the Juarez/El Paso border, I am currently an artist based in Laredo, Texas. My work is focused primarily on Painting. The paintings I created this semester feature a limited color palette. My style combines still life and composition to create works that are full of detail and texture. The inviting perspectives of these paintings are an acknowledgment of the surrounding environment and a beautiful exploration of my Mexican-American border culture.
