I've been passionate about interiors and the way people live for as long as I can remember. I'm inspired by my surroundings and everyday life, by travel and far-flung places, by art and history, and everything in between.
Last summer I had the wonderful opportunity to study Renaissance Architecture in Florence, Italy with AAU’s study abroad program. I’m currently in the MFA program for Interior Architecture and Design, and I saw this as an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. Every weekday morning our class would meet for a lecture, then we’d traverse the city in search of what we just learned. We had drawing assignments each week and kept journals of our sketches. On Thursdays we’d leave the city and either take a day trip or pack our bags and go to a completely different region. Every day felt like an exciting new adventure.
