Jonathan Ian Gayap

Jonathan Ian is a Filipino-American Sound Designer who is based in San Diego. He was inspired by the magic of audio in both film and video games when he was younger and is a big fan of many great Hollywood blockbuster and AAA video game titles. During his time in Academy Of Art University, he learned many valuable skills that eventually allowed him to land sound design opportunities with some major short film projects in which two of them ("In Case I'm Next" & "Black Girl Magic") were associated with the prestigious Oscar winning film company, BRON Studios. He continues to work on many more upcoming short films and feature film projects. He earned his M.A. in Sound Design in Fall 2022 and will be walking this Spring 2023
