Mark Jones

I have been exploring the natural systems and process of the Mojave Desert as well as those of Michigan, Mississippi, Washington State and Kentucky for most of half a century.

After trying out several different professions, joining the military, and studying for my degree in Horticulture, I settled on Landscape Architecture. Where I see myself in 5 years is designing for residential and small municipal projects and hope to run my own small office of 2 or 3 designers. I am not in this for the money but for my love of plants and the natural world. Plants are the most important thing to me.
